DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY FIRST LESSON?

No! The first 30-minute lesson is free.  I want this to be an opportunity to get to know you, and give you the opportunity to try things out without any pressure or obligations to commit beforehand.  ​

WHEN DO I PAY FOR LESSONS?

​

Tuition is collected on the 1st of each month, or by their first lesson of the month.  For new students starting in the middle of a month, payments for the remainder of that month will be collected at the first paid lesson.​

HOW CAN I PAY FOR LESSONS?

Currently I accept Cash, Venmo, PayPal, and Zelle

​

WHEN ARE LESSONS HELD?

​

Lessons will be held at the same agreed upon time slot every week.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

​

I would typically recommend at least age 6 or 7 if the child shows interest in music.  It's much easier to grasp for them if they are having fun and are excited about it!  For younger children, a more experiential group class setting might be more engaging for them versus a one-on-one setting focused on establishing the fundamentals of drumming.  I'm happy to discuss this further for any parents still interested in enrolling a student who is younger.

DO I NEED MY OWN INSTRUMENT?

​

I will provide the necessary equipment for our lesson.  It is recommended to have your own instrument at some point in order to be able to practice on your own time.   For beginner drummers, it's possible to start with a practice pad and a pair of sticks.

IF I CAN'T MAKE MY LESSON, DO I STILL HAVE TO PAY?

​

Yes. Part of what your paying for is the time slot that I'm reserving for you.  Although you still have to pay for the lesson, I am happy to either try to find a time during that week for a makeup lesson, or we can apply that payment to a future lesson.​

CAN YOU TRAVEL TO ME FOR LESSONS?

​

I am open to traveling to students for lessons.  I reserve the right to decide at the time we are establishing lessons if that will fit with my schedule or not.

**There is an additional fee to account for drive time, mileage, and setup depending on where you live.  I'm happy to discuss this further and try to make it work for everyone involved. ​

**Bonus Lessons

For any months that have 5 lesson days, the additional lesson for the month will be free of charge, provided the 5th lesson is not a holiday.  This way you can expect the same tuition payment for each month.

**Credited Lessons

In the event I am unable to provide your lesson due to holiday schedule, inclement weather, or sickness, we can either reschedule that lesson for another time that week if schedules permit, credit payment to the following month, or not be charged.
